Are you still doing door-to-door sales at the moment?

Our priority is ensuring the health and safety of members of the public, and we take this duty of care extremely seriously.

As a precaution, as of November 2020, we’re pausing all our door-to-door sales activity, until further notice.  

How we'll keep you and our engineers safe when we start door-to-door sales again

We know that right now it’s more important than ever to make sure that both members of the public and our sales teams feel as safe as possible.

We’re not sure when we’ll get back out knocking doors again. When we do, it’ll be in full compliance with government safety guidelines.

These measures will include:

• Social distancing, maintaining a safe distance of at least 2 metres at all times
• Carrying and using personal protective equipment (PPE), including face masks and shields, and hand-sanitiser
• Contactless door knocking and bell ringing
• Contactless sign-up

Our representatives will look out for anyone who’s self-isolating, or not comfortable with a doorstep visit. They won’t enter a resident’s home, or engage with elderly or vulnerable people. They’ll ask a short series of questions to establish if there may be a greater risk from interaction – if that’s the case, they’ll move on straight away.

Additional precautions taken by our sales teams will be:

• Maintaining good hygiene, including cleaning hands regularly with soap and sanitising with anti-bacterial gel
• Any sales representative displaying coronavirus symptoms will not attend work, and will follow government and NHS guidance
• Any sales representative who has tested positive for coronavirus, or come into contact with someone who has tested positive, will self-isolate and follow government and NHS guidance
• Regular, up-to-date COVID-19 safety and hygiene training for all sales representatives
